Bookings and cancellations policy
Please confirm your reservation before carefully reading the booking conditions and cancellations.Services carry high health risks, if you have altitude sickness (Puna), due to this, passengers with certain physical or health conditions should not perform these services, include:-Pregnant at any gestational age.-Adults majors (65 years or more)- The diseased heart, lung, uncontrolled hypertensive patients with a history of stroke, vascular accidents, cerebral or pulmonary edema or any serious illness that affects the respiratory or circulatory system.-The company has the right not to transport passengers under these conditions. The company is not responsible for passengers with the above conditions if they decide to travel anyway.The contracted services are valid for the date, time and place indicated on the voucher that will be sent to confirm your reservation, if the passenger is not in his place or does not arrive at the indicated place, regardless of this reason, he loses the total of the value paid.Only cancellations or changes with the following reference will be accepted as appropriate:For Day Tours:If the cancellation is done less than 2 working days prior to departure 100% of the total value of the tourist package will be considered a non-refundable booking fee;If the Customer cancels between 2 to 30 working days before the tour has been scheduled, there is 50% of the tourist package non-refundable booking fee;If the cancellation is done before 30 working days prior to departure, 20% of the total value of the tourist package is considered a non-refundable booking fee.For Programs:If the cancellation is done between 1 and 9 working days prior to departure 100% of the total value of the tourist package will be considered non-refundable;If the Customer cancels 10 working days before the tour has been scheduled there is 70% of the booking fee of the tourist package considered as non-refundable;If the cancellation is done before 20 working days prior to departure 50% of the total value of the tourist package is considered a non-refundable booking fee.If the cancellation is done before 30 working days prior to departure 30% of the total value of the tourist package is considered a non-refundable booking fee.For Tailor-made programs:If the cancellation is done between 1 and 9 working days prior to departure 100% of the total value of the tourist package will be considered non-refundable;If the Customer cancels 10 working days before the tour has been scheduled there is 70% of the booking fee of the tourist package considered as non-refundable;If the cancellation is done before 20 working days prior to departure 50% of the total value of the tourist package is considered a non-refundable booking fee.If the cancellation is done before 30 working days prior to departure 30% of the total value of the tourist package is considered a non-refundable booking fee.The company will not carry passengers who are under the influence of alcohol or any substance that visibly affects their behavior or compromises the safety of other service members or personnel, this will not reimburse the amount paid. You are requested not to carry valuables and delicate items to the tours, in addition to guaranteeing your belongings, the company will not be responsible for loss or damage resulting from the negligence of the passenger.The company has the right to change schedules, routes or cancellation services due to adverse weather conditions, political problems or outside the company that prevent the normal performance of this, if the company cancels the refund conditions, 100% will be refunded .The values do not include tips, meals or activities not indicated.
Privacy and Personal Data Protection
HIKE CHILE is expressly authorized under article 4 of Data Privacy Protection Act (Act No. 19.628) to collect and treat the Customer’s personal data in order to manage HIKE CHILE’s relationship with the Customer before, during and after the tourist activity, manage the booking of accommodation and travels, transmit his/her personal data in relation to the bank account and/or credit card to end service providers, process his/her personal data for marketing operations, promote brands and gain a better understanding of the Customer’s requirements and wishes, manage claims and or complaints, manage the data internally for creating a lists of customers having behaved inappropriately during the tourist packages, adapt HIKE CHILE’s products and services to better meet the Customer’s requirements and inform the Customer of special offers and any new services created by HIKE CHILE.
The above said, the Customer’s personal data is regarded as confidential and therefore will not be divulged to any third party, other than our supplier(s) and, only if legally required, to the corresponding authorities.
By accepting these conditions, the customer exclusively authorizes HIKE CHILE to use his/her image, name, likeness, and/or voice in publicity or advertising relating to the company in Chile without compensation. This authorization is perpetual and includes the right in favor of HIKE CHILE to freely use any and/or all photographic and filmic images (including usage of voice rights) for using them on internet and social networking websites including, but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram, in addition to any type of advertising and graphic material, as well as any photography, recordings, video, film, drawing or representation. The Customer declares that they understand that there is no compensation with respect to the aforementioned authorization.
